What stays on your phone, what can leave it, and what you can do about it.
Stays on your device
- Your notes, the text recognized by OCR, the images you capture and your settings.
- Text recognition (OCR) and meeting transcription run on your phone by default, with models that work locally.
- Photos you import come from the Android photo picker — the app never gets access to your whole photo library.
What can leave your device
Only for the features you use. Nothing here is sold.
Ads (free version)

- Advertising ID, approximate location from your IP address, how you interact with ads, diagnostics.

- Show and measure ads.

- Consent form where the law requires it, Settings > Privacy & ads, and resetting your advertising ID in Android.

Account
- Data
- Email address and the name or ID of your Kiky or Google sign-in.
- Why
- Identify your account, licenses and credits.

Shared files (CloudShare, optional)
- Data
- The file, encrypted on your device (we cannot read it), its size and dates; which accounts opened it; and for invitations: the invited username or email, the invitation status, the public encryption key of the invited device and an encrypted key envelope.

- Let you share a file by link or invite people to edit it, and enforce the plan limits.
- Your control
- Delete the file or an invitation in your CloudShare dashboard at any time; files expire after 30 days unless you confirm them. Delete your account and data.

Devices and notifications
- Data
- Device name, platform, app version and a Firebase Cloud Messaging token.
- Why
- Link your devices to your account and send notifications.

Cloud features (optional)
- Data
- The image, audio or text you choose to send, and its result (recognized text, summary, AI reply, transcript). All of it is deleted automatically within about two hours after the task finishes; only a technical record (type, status, time, credits) stays with your account.

- Cloud OCR and document reconstruction, translation and summaries, document chat and cloud meeting transcription.

- Asked before it is used; turn it off in Settings.

Anonymous usage statistics (optional)
- Data
- Counts only: which features were used or failed, local vs cloud, how long they took, pages scanned, time in the app, plus app version, Android version and language. A random installation ID not linked to your account. Never your content, file names, email or location.

- Find out which features matter and which fail, to improve the app.
- Your control
- Off by default (unticked box when you accept the terms); turn it on or off any time in Settings (turning it off deletes unsent numbers).

Backup (optional)

- Your notes, in a hidden folder of your own Google Drive that only this app can read.

Security

Your data, your call
You can ask for access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data at [email protected]. Deleting your account disables it right away and removes your data after 30 days.
